The Last Line of Defense is a split LP between two of Wisconsin's most noteworthy hardcore / crust bands of today - released just in time for the bands' joint 2010 East Coast tour. Appleton's WARTORN fill their side with two lengthy virtuosos of monstrous crust power, while Madison's PYROKLAST (ex-DISCIDER) level all left standing with six mad blasts of hardcore thrash. Hush (aka Jeremy Clark) contributes awesome new art for both the front and back covers, with a characteristically apocalyptic perspective that perfectly suite this album's title. We are just waiting for the inserts to show up and these will be ready to ship. The Last Line of Defense has been cooperatively released by Profane Existence, Offensive Media, Sysdumb, Despotic, Crimes Against Humanity, and Diskontento Records. First press limited to 500 copies. For several years I illustrated the front covers of underground punk newspaper Slug and Lettuce. Based out of NYC/ Richmond VA. I posted most of them on myspace. These drawings are a major part of my life. It was my way of documented the punk scene I was apart of and people involved. The news paper itself ran for 20 years and was distributed all over the planet.

This is what I do when I'm bored at the merch table on tour. I must have done 50 some of these. I get them from my tip jar and reintroduce them to the world when making change on the road. I should have scanned more of them. If anyone runs across one let me know. There are a few different King Diamond variants floating around out there too. Fun fun.

My latest tour prints went over really well! Sold out both series of 100 on white and series of 18 on biege. 2 color. Huge scale- 20"x25". This was also the first time I did not print the posters myself. I just moved to Philly and have no equipment. Yet.
